Southwestern University’s baseball program becomes the latest school in the country to add PlaySight 643 PRO’s video, data and analytics all-in-one platform to their home facility and program for this upcoming season.<\/p>\n

The Pirates program becomes one of the first in the nation to adopt the integrative video and data PlaySight 643 PRO platform for this upcoming season, giving their coaches, student-athletes and community access to a pro-level and affordable all-in-one video and analytics platform for their scouting, analytics, performance video and live streaming broadcast needs.<\/p>\n

As a coach, it is my job to do everything\u00a0I can to maximize my players’ ability and put us in the best position to be successful,\u201d said Southwestern Baseball Head Coach JC Bunch<\/strong>. \u201cUtilizing 643 Charts the last few seasons has given us an advantage. With this partnership with PlaySight, that advantage\u00a0will grow, as we will now be able to review\u00a0games and practices, giving players the opportunity to do their own film sessions, without having a staff break down all the film.\u00a0The opportunity for guys to get better using this platform was the main selling point.\u201d<\/p>\n

PlaySight has already been working with the tennis program at Southwestern for several seasons, and its flexible platform allows for similar performance and live streaming benefits for different sports and facilities across collegiate athletics.<\/p>\n

The live stream feature is something we use on a frequent basis. It\u2019s something we use for all of our home matches and many practices. Having the ability to broadcast to family, friends, alums is something we have only received positive feedback on. It\u2019s made our facility an even better one that is able to host ITA Regionals, Conference Championships and USTA Tournaments. It gave us the ability to host numerous D1 and D2 programs at a D3 facility as we have something that many of them don\u2019t, \u201d said Head Tennis Coach Billy\u00a0Porter.<\/strong><\/p>\n
